U.S. Xpress, Inc. seeks a Driver Leader in Dallas, TX to execute initiatives with a strong emphasis on driver satisfaction and customer focus. You will supervise drivers, manage performance, and ensure safe, on‑time service while collaborating across teams.

The role requires 2+ years in a driver or customer‑facing role; transportation or logistics experience is a plus. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive compensation range.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience required.
• Equivalent years of experience defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested.

Responsibilities

• Supervise driver performance according to company policies, DOT regulations, and other applicable rules.
• Directly supervise multiple drivers at any given time (new hires, off-truck drivers, or those needing training).
• Ensure driver satisfaction and provide support for on‑the‑road issues.
• Make recommendations for performance documentation, promotions, and terminations.
• Address issues and disputes for drivers and promote safe operations.
• Manage driver capacity and ensure on‑time service.
• Monitor KPI’s around P&L, Safety, Fuel Management, and Utility.
• Collaborate with Customer Service to address service deviations and communicate updates.
• Engage with colleagues to drive the company’s mission and values.
