Job summary

MTM Transit is hiring a Driver in Mojave, CA to provide safe and reliable trolley operation services in partnership with Kern Transit. The role requires a California Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement and a clean motor vehicle record.

The starting pay is $19.89 per hour, with increases after training. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered. The position emphasizes safety, customer service, and on-time performance, with benefits and paid time off described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have and maintain a valid U.S. Driver’s license for past 5 years.
• Must have California Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement.
• No felony convictions in past 5 years.
• No DUI/DWI in last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation.
• Assist with passenger loading and unloading from vehicle.
• Ensure on-time pick-up and drop-off of the customer.
• Complete thorough vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Complete paperwork as required; use tablets as needed.
