MTM Transit is hiring a Driver in Mojave, CA, to provide safe and reliable trolley transport in partnership with Kern Transit. The role emphasizes courteous service, adherence to client procedures, and compliance with DOT/FTA guidelines.

Training leads to increased pay and responsibilities in a supportive team environment. The position requires a California Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement, a clean driving record, and DOT pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21+ and eligible to work in the United States.
• Must hold California Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement.
• No felony in past 5 years; clean driving and MV record.
• DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrate defensive driving skills.
• Deliver excellent customer service to stakeholders.
• Assist passengers with loading/unloading.
• Assist with mobility devices and safety protocols.
• Ensure on-time pickup and drop-off.
• Understand needs of older adults and individuals with disabilities.
• Complete pre-trip/post-trip inspections and required paperwork.
• Utilize tablets or electronic devices as required.
