Job summary

Vital Records Control Companies seeks a Driver II (DOT) to operate company CMVs and PIT equipment on customer service routes, ensuring safe transport and strict chain-of-custody. A valid license and clean driving record are required, with adherence to FMCSR and DOT regulations.

Role involves loading, unloading, and direct customer interaction to fulfill service requests. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain documentation, and support operational execution while upholding safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must maintain valid DOT medical certification and license.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screening.
• Must maintain acceptable MVR and driving record.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and Hours-of-Service requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to support assigned service routes.
• Operate PIT equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) as needed.
• Drive vans/box trucks to customer locations and collaborate with customers.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document results.
• Maintain chain-of-custody and protect customer materials during transport.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies; perform loading/unloading.
• Utilize handheld scanners and inventory systems.
• Meet productivity, timeliness, and accuracy standards.
