Job summary

VRC is seeking a Driver II (DOT) to operate company CMVs on customer service routes, ensuring chain-of-custody and confidentiality. You will perform pickups and deliveries, document inspections, and maintain compliance with FMCSR and DOT requirements.

The role emphasizes safe transportation of assets, plus PIT operation and customer-facing service. CDL/DMV standards and a clean driving record are required, with a focus on accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous route driving, delivery, or transportation experience preferred.
• Experience operating commercial vehicles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles including DOT-regulated CMVs to support assigned service routes.
• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (forklifts, order pickers, electric pallet jacks).
• Drive vans or box trucks to customer locations for pickups, deliveries, and service needs; work directly with customers.
• Conduct and document pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
