FreshDirect is seeking a Delivery Representative - Helper to assist drivers on the go, delivering customer orders on foot in New York neighborhoods. This role demands physical lifting and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

The Role

The primary responsibility of Delivery Representative - Helper is responsible for assisting drivers in the delivery truck. You will be delivering orders to our customers by foot in certain areas of New York. This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages.

What You’ll Do

• Must be able to work both Saturday and Sunday.
• Must be able to work a flexible shift (mornings and/or evenings).
• Must be willing to work in any weather condition (heat, rain, snow, etc.).
• Ability to complete all basic and recurring training.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs with the appropriate equipment.
• Prior customer service and delivery experience desired.
• Comfort /familiarity with basic smartphone operations.
• Ability to utilize smartphones for two-way communication with our Operations Team.
• Must embody and demonstrate company values and culture.

Salary

The pay rate for this role is $17/hour.
