Job summary

Raintree Village in Lincoln, Nebraska seeks a dedicated Transport Driver to safely transport residents to appointments and accompany them during visits. The role emphasizes resident comfort, safety, and respectful, friendly service.

The transporter will assist residents on and off the vehicle, accommodate wheelchair needs, and participate in meetings and training. This position offers full-time hours and benefits typical of a senior living community.

Responsibilities

• Drive residents to and from appointments and waiting for them during
• Assist residents on and off the vehicle, sometimes pushing their wheelchair as necessary
• Follow and uphold the Community’s philosophy and goal to maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident’s quality of care and quality of life
• Follow and uphold policies and procedures of the Community
• Attend and participate in facility meetings and in-service training programs as assigned
• Observe residents’ rights including, but not limited to, privacy, dignity, etc.
• Promote positive public relations with residents, family members and guests
• Assist in coordination of scheduling and daily appointments.
• Complete any other assignments including tasks assigned to other departments

Role

We are seeking a dedicated Transport Driver to join our team! The Driver is responsible for providing safe transportation for the residents of our retirement community, taking them to and from appointments and waiting for them during the appointments.
