Public Job Source USA is seeking a dependable Driver/Field Technician to prepare newly constructed homes for occupancy. Responsibilities include cleaning, minor carpentry, and finishing work on residential sites while assisting builders and subcontractors to meet quality standards.

The role pays $22/hour with a Mon-Fri schedule and a Temp-to-Hire assignment. A mandatory pre-employment process includes drug screen, background check, MVR, physical, and English communication ability.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive a company vehicle.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work independently.
• Comfortable performing physical labor and working outdoors.
• Construction experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Detail and finalize homes prior to homeowner occupancy.
• Clean and organize residential construction job sites.
• Perform minor carpentry, repairs, finishing, and punch-list work.
• Perform minor landscaping and general handyman duties.
• Assist with receiving, moving, and storing materials.
• Install and remove temporary railings and sidewalks.
• Assist builders, subcontractors, and other trades as needed.
• Perform seasonal duties such as snow removal, de-icing, and winter heating support.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Work independently and responsibly with limited supervision.

About This Opportunity

Seeking a dependable Driver/Field Technician to assist with preparing newly constructed homes for homeowner occupancy. This is a hands-on position that includes cleaning and organizing residential job sites, minor carpentry and finishing work, landscaping, general handyman duties, moving materials, and completing punch-list items. The Field Tech will also assist builders and subcontractors as needed while helping ensure each home meets quality standards.

Bonus Opportunity

• $350 Attendance Bonus for perfect attendance during the first 30 days

Assignment Details

Pay: $22/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 4:00 PM
