Job summary

Chamberlin Roofing & Waterproofing seeks a Sr. Technician or higher to manage construction sites within their division in Houston.

You will oversee field staff, safety, equipment, materials, scheduling, cost efficiency, quality, productivity and vehicle organization for assigned projects. You will assist in scheduling, training and reviewing of field personnel, communicate with the Superintendent, client and subcontractors, and ensure warranty inspections and punch list items are completed.

Qualifications

• Experience at a Sr. Technician level or higher in construction (minimum 2 years).
• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• English speaking; bilingual preferred.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and construction documents.
• Ability to lead others and communicate expectations.

• Responsible for assisting in the scheduling, training and reviewing of field personnel
• Communicate with Superintendent, client and subcontractors
• Ensure warranty inspections and punch list items are completed and handle delegated customer issues on assigned projects
• Assist in performance management of the team
• Ensure all safety requirements are adhered to everyday/always (JHA, water, equipment, stretch and flex, PPE, etc.)
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience at a Sr. Technician level or higher within the construction industry
• OSHA 30 certification

Minimum Requirements

• English speaking, bilingual preferred
• Safety focused
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and construction documents
• Able to communicate expectations and lead others
• Able to work independently without significant supervision
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid driver\'s license
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs+
• Must be able to work outside in changing weather conditions: intense heat and cold conditions
• Must be able to work in elevated locations
• Must be able to stand, walk, and kneel for long periods of time
• Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week and overtime when necessary
• Must have reliable transportation to get to differing job locations
• Must be looking for full time employment with a desire to advance within the company
