Job summary

Werner Enterprises in Omaha seeks a Driver Onboarding and Relations Specialist to welcome new drivers and manage their first 30 days. You will act as a single contact, coordinate with transportation managers and internal teams to resolve issues and promote a positive onboarding experience.

You will conduct 14- and 30-day follow-ups, help develop action plans, and hand off smoothly to the Transportation Manager while seeking process improvements to boost driver retention.

Qualifications

• Onboarding experience and driver-focused approach.
• Strong communication across departments to resolve issues.
• Knowledge of truckload operations and Werner policies.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new drivers and promote a positive culture from day one.
• Serve as primary liaison between drivers and other departments to resolve questions.
• Develop action plans with drivers and departments to resolve concerns.
• Conduct follow-up calls at 14 and 30 days to ensure onboarding is complete.
