Job summary

RelaDyne is seeking a part-time CDL Driver (Class A or B) to support emergency response fuel operations in the field. The role involves overnight/extended hours as needed, with field deployments that may include sleeping in the truck or shared accommodations. You will load/unload, verify deliveries, and maintain accurate paperwork while upholding safety and customer service standards. From Houston or any location, this position requires reliability and strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• At least one year of experience hauling liquid bulk using tanker or bobtail.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to work out of town, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
• Safe driving record and commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Follow delivery instructions and comply with DOT, company, and customer safety policies.
• May operate a Transport, Bobtail or Quick Response Vehicle (if qualified).
• Load and unload products, connect hoses, operate pumps and valves, and fill tanks/generators.
• Ensure correct product and gallons per instructions.
• Provide friendly, courteous service and deliver information to customers.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Comply with accident/incident reporting procedures for spills.
• Other tasks as assigned by manager.

CDL Driver Class A or Class B Emergency Response (Part-Time)

Hourly Pay $40.00 + Overtime | Any Location

Position Overview

This is a part-time position assisting with fuel operations in the field on an as-needed basis. When our company is called upon for emergency response services, additional resources are often needed to successfully meet our customer demands. In the event of deployment, you will need to be prepared for adverse conditions due to weather-related events. These events may include, but are not limited to, a lack of adequate sleeping facilities, which means sleeping in the truck until accommodation is secured, consuming MRE (Meals, Ready-to-Eat) due to a lack in food source, and a lack of showering facilities. In addition, once adequate accommodations are secured, sleeping facilities may include a cot in a shared facility, sharing a travel trailer with multiple employees or a double occupancy hotel room.

What You'll Do

• Follow delivery instructions, and maintain compliance with all DOT, company and customer safety and operational policies and procedures
• May operate a Transport, Bobtail or Quick Response Vehicle (depending on qualified status)
• Properly load and unload products at various locations, connect and disconnect hoses, operate pumps and valves for loading and unloading, safely fill tanks and/or generators
• Ensure truck is loaded with correct product and gallons according to delivery instructions
• Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to customers including obtaining and providing information regarding delivery
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely
• Comply with company\'s accident and incident reporting procedures for accidents and spills
• Other related tasks as assigned by manager
