Job summary

RelaDyne in Long Beach, CA is seeking a CDL A Fuel Truck Driver to load, transport and deliver fuel to local customers. The role offers strong pay ($32-$33 per hour) with overtime opportunities, home daily time, and a comprehensive benefits package.

The position requires adherence to DOT regulations and a safety-focused approach to daily duties. The driver will typically work 3pm until the route is complete, Monday through Thursday or Friday start depending on route.

Qualifications

• CDL A license required
• Hazmat/Tanker/TWIC endorsements required
• Manual transmission required
• 1-3 years of verifiable CDL Fuel Driving experience or equivalent
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• Clean driving record
• Clean background

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver fuel to local customers in Tanker truck
• 80% Wet Hosing
• Ability to maneuver in tight spaces/3-10 point turns
• Unload or assist in unloading material as required
• Ensure materials are properly secured and within weight limits
• Collect payment as necessary on COD tickets
• Comply with DOT requirements

What You'll Do

Work Environment

This position includes outdoor work in varying weather conditions and extended periods of driving, loading, and unloading products. Candidates should be comfortable working in a physically active environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety. Candidates should also be comfortable climbing steps to verify tank compartments and getting in and out of the tractor, multiple times a day.

Preferred

• Experience with ELD (Electronic Logging Device)
• Oilfield & pump experience
