Job summary

AltaMed Health Services is seeking a DOT-CDL driver to cover fixed routes for the Transportation Department and support specialty appointments. This role requires a California Class B license with P endorsement and a clean driving record.

The ideal candidate should have at least two years of driving experience, experience with geriatric populations, and the ability to obtain an LA DOT city permit. A current BLS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current California Class B license with P endorsement for multiple passengers.
• Minimum two years of driving experience.
• Experience with geriatric and/or frail elderly populations preferred.
• Ability to obtain an LA DOT city permit.
• A minimum BLS certification is required or higher per AHA/Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Provide fixed route coverage for the Transportation Department.
• Provide coverage for all specialty appointments during fixed routes downtime.
• Assist clients requiring transportation to/from home to PACE Center facilities and specialty appointments.
• Comply with all DOT regulations.
