Job summary

zTrip is seeking a dependable and organized Driver Dispatcher to support daily transportation operations, ensuring drivers have the information and resources they need to succeed. You will coordinate trip assignments, communicate with drivers throughout the day, and help maintain efficient, reliable service for our customers.

Working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you will assign trips, monitor activity, and collaborate with the operations team to address delays and changes.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused.
• Previous experience in dispatching, transportation, logistics, or customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign trips and manage driver schedules to support daily operations.
• Maintain regular communication with drivers regarding trip details, updates, and service changes.
• Monitor transportation activity and address operational challenges as they arise.
• Assist with route modifications, delays, and scheduling adjustments.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records, logs, and operational reports.
• Work closely with operations and management teams to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Provide timely support to drivers and help resolve issues quickly and professionally.
• Contribute to a positive, customer-focused transportation experience.
