Job summary

U.S. Xpress is seeking a Driver Development Specialist in Dallas to deliver comprehensive driver training across classroom, one-on-one, and hands-on formats.

You will work with ongoing simulator programs, ensuring alignment with DOT regulations and company policy while coaching drivers to meet safety and performance standards. The role emphasizes hands-on instruction, content development, and collaboration with Operations and Safety to improve driver skills and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred.
• Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested

Responsibilities

• Conduct driver-facing development in classroom, one-on-one, and hands-on settings.
• Present information using a variety of instructional techniques or formats.
• Facilitate simulator training and development programs; maintain knowledge of simulator technology.
