Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking CDL-A drivers to cover sites across the country, traveling to support start-ups, vacations, and existing locations. The role offers a generous benefits package starting on day one, including major medical, vision, life, disability, and a company 401k match.

Responsibilities include driving, inspecting equipment, and maintaining safety and housekeeping across sites. A minimum of CDL-A experience is required, with endorsements valued.

Qualifications

• 6 months of CDL class A experience.
• 1 million accident free miles (preferred).
• 5 years of CDL class A experience (preferred).
• Experience moving multiple trailer types (tanks, vans, flatbeds).
• Any added endorsements (Hazmat, doubles, TWIC card).

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor/trailer around site and public roads.
• Inspect tractor and yard truck before/after shift.
• Maneuver safely within facility lanes and defined areas.
• Maintain housekeeping within tractor/trailer areas.
• Inspect trailers before moves; verify condition.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Drive a tractor in and around the site or on public roads, moving multiple styles of trailers
• Inspect tractor/yard truck before and after the shift
• Maneuver tractor/trailer safely throughout the facility within the designated lanes and areas
• Maintain housekeeping within assigned tractor/trailer and defined areas
• Inspect trailers to be moved to verify condition
• Work safely and adhere to all safety policies and practices

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• 6 months of Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) class A experience
• We are looking for the best of the best, this is the top gun program for GXO trucking!

It’d be great if you also have:

• 1 million accident free miles
• 5 years of Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) class A experience
• Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds)
• Any added endorsements (Hazmat, doubles, TWIC card)
