Job summary

GXO Logistics, a leader in supply chain solutions, seeks a CDL Class A Driver for home daily in Manassas, VA. You’ll run local routes, deliver goods safely and on time, and return home each day.

We offer competitive compensation starting at $30.50 per hour plus overtime, plus a generous benefits package including medical, dental and vision, 401(k) and life insurance. Applicant must have a valid CDL-A and a safe driving record.

Qualifications

• 6 months of CDL experience operating the same type of equipment or larger in the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A current valid CDL A license and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor and 53 ft trailer in and around the site or on public roads.
• Touch freight position.
• Drive safely and adhere to all safety policies and practices.
• Perform routine inspections.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch.

CDL Class A Driver - Home Daily!

1nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 9:00pm to 5:30am

Pay rates start at $30.50 per hour plus overtime pay is available after 40 worked hours per week.

About the role

As a CDL Driver, you'll not only drive our equipment, but you'll also drive our success! You'll play a key role in ensuring safe, on-time delivery of goods for our customers, running local routes that get you home daily.

What you'll do on a typical day

• Drive tractor and 53 ft trailer in and around the site or on public roads

• Drive safely and adhere to all safety policies and practices

What you'll need to succeed at GXO

At a minimum you'll need:

• 6 months of Commercial Driver's License (CDL) experience operating the same type of equipment needed for this position, or larger, in the last 3 years
• Must be at least 18 years old
• A current valid CDL A driver's license and a safe driving record

It'd be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds)
