Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a CDL Class A Driver for local routes with home daily. The role emphasizes safe, on-time deliveries, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30am to 4:30pm.

Qualifications

• 6 months CDL experience operating the same type of equipment or larger in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 53ft tractor trailer on site or public roads.
• Touch freight as required and ensure safe handling.
• Follow safety policies and conduct routine inspections.
• Communicate with dispatch to coordinate deliveries.

About The Role

As a CDL Driver, you’ll not only drive our equipment, but you’ll also drive our success! You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, on-time delivery of goods for our customers, running local routes that get you home daily. Responsible for safely transporting materials between company facilities, accurate movement of products and equipment to support daily operations.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

• Drive 53ft tractor trailer in and around the site or on public roads
• Touch freight position
• Drive safely and adhere to all safety policies and practices
• Perform routine inspections
• Communicate effectively with dispatch

What You’ll Need To Succeed At GXO

At a minimum you’ll need:

• 6 months of Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) experience operating the same type of equipment needed for this position, or larger, in the last 3 years
• Must be at least 18 years old
• A current valid (CDL A) driver’s license and an acceptable MVR

It’d be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds)
