Job summary

La Posada Hotel is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport guests safely to airports, attractions, and local destinations. You will assist with luggage, inspect the shuttle, and follow routes and schedules to ensure timely service.

Familiarity with local area and strong customer service skills are valued. This is a full-time on-site role at the hotel, with a focus on safety and helpful guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required and clear driving record.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and perform physical duties as described.

Responsibilities

• Drive minibus, van, lightweight truck, or company vehicle to transport guests safely within the company-approved travel radius.
• Transport hotel guests to airports, train stations, attractions, and local businesses.
• Assist guests with loading/unloading luggage with care and courtesy.
• Regularly inspect shuttle for cleanliness, fuel, tires, and general mechanical issues.
• Report safety concerns to management promptly.
• Adhere to routes and pickup/drop-off schedules for timely service.
• Answer guest questions, provide directions, and recommend local attractions or restaurants.
• Greet guests warmly and maintain a professional demeanor for a comfortable ride.
• Drive responsibly, follow traffic regulations, and hotel procedures for guest safety and vehicle operation.
• Assist passengers with disabilities or special requests for accessibility and comfort.
• Log shuttle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, incidents or delays.
• Coordinate with front desk/concierge to manage pickups, delays, or special transportation requests.

Summary

• Drives minibus, van, lightweight truck, or company vehicle to transport guests, clients, trainees, or company personnel safely to their desired destination within the company approved travel radius.
• Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Transport hotel guests safely to and from designated locations such as airports, train stations, tourist attractions, and local businesses.
• Assisting guests with loading and unloading their luggage, ensuring care and courtesy.
• Regularly inspect the shuttle for cleanliness, fuel levels, tire pressure, and mechanical issues.
• Reporting all safety concerns to management in a timely manner.
• Adhere to assigned routes and pickup/drop-off schedules to ensure timely service.
• Answer guest questions about the area, offer directions, and recommend nearby attractions or restaurants.
• Greet guests warmly, maintain a professional demeanor, and ensure a comfortable ride experience.
• Drive responsibly, obeying all traffic regulations, and following hotel procedures for guest safety and vehicle operation.
• Assist passengers with disabilities or special requests to ensure accessibility and comfort.
• Log shuttle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays.
• Communicate with front desk/concierge to manage guest pickups, delays, or special transportation requests.
