Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro in Sparks, NV is seeking an experienced truck driver to operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles and straight trucks, for safe pickup and delivery between service centers and turn-point locations.

You will perform non-driving duties as needed, such as forklift operation and dock work, and must meet DOT standards, have a Class A CDL or CLP, and be able to lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL or CLP and a clean MVR.
• DOT regulatory standards must be met.
• Basic math, communication skills, and ability to follow instructions.
• Physical ability to lift approximately 100 pounds repeatedly, sit for extended periods, and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate various truck types, conduct safety inspections, and handle trailer hookups.
• Maintain accurate logs and complete required documentation.
• Follow dispatch instructions and comply with hazardous material regulations.
• Provide internal and external customer service.
• Perform freight handling using motorized/manual equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Adhere to all laws, regulations, and company policies, including tire chaining when necessary.
• Perform additional duties as required.
