Driver and Construction Inventory Coordinator

Lettire Construction Corp., an established ground‑up builder in the tri‑state area, is seeking a skilled Driver and Construction Inventory Coordinator to join our team. Responsibilities include operating a company truck, working directly on active construction sites, managing inventory of tools from projects, and loading/unloading as well as delivering and transporting materials.

Pay

Base pay range: $56,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
  • Safely drive/operate company vehicles to transport tools, jobsite equipment, and materials to and from active construction sites.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT requirements, and company safety policies.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks.
  • Load, secure, and unload construction materials and tools in jobsite conditions.
  • Track inventory levels of construction tools used in the field.
  • Pick up and drop off materials at job sites, warehouses, and vendors.
  • Coordinate directly with superintendents, foremen, and field staff regarding tool needs and returns.
  • Track / Log daily activities including deliveries, pickups, and jobsite movements.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, withdrawals, and returns.
  • Communicate effectively with management and project teams regarding inventory needs and transportation schedules.
  • Work closely with jobsite personnel in active construction environments.
  • Follow all company service protocols and other duties as assigned by management.
  • Read and interpret documents including company policies, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, maps, and road signs.
  • Basic computer literacy including email and internet skills.
  • Obtain OSHA certifications if needed.
  • Follow safety rules and exercise safe work practices in accordance with company policies, OSHA standards, and DOT requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management and transportation.
  • Operate heavy equipment preferred (forklifts, lifts, etc.).
  • Comfortable working around active trades, equipment, and jobsite operations.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or driving a plus.
  • Proven experience as a driver, preferably in the construction or logistics industry.
  • Prior construction, labor, or jobsite experience strongly preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with construction materials and tools.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to successfully pass DOT drug screen, medical certification, physical exam, and road exams.
  • Class A or B CDL preferred.
  • Must be able to meet physical demands evaluation.
  • Must be able to lift 100 lbs.
  • Fluent in English & Spanish — speaking, reading, and writing.
