Job summary

Curtis Lumber Co Inc. in New York is seeking a Driver Assistant to support transportation and delivery of building materials to branch yards, homes, and job sites. You will focus on safe handling, accurate loading, and excellent customer service while maintaining truck readiness.

This full-time role offers $18–$20 per hour, weekly pay, annual raises, profit sharing after one year, and a comprehensive benefits package. Ability to lift 50–80 lbs and operate a propane forklift is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50-80 lbs regularly.
• Must wear PPE.
• Full-time 40+ hours per week.
• Must be able to operate a propane forklift safely.
• Building material knowledge a plus.

Curtis Lumber is currently looking for a Driver Assistant to assist with transportation and delivery!

$18-20 per hour starting rate, Annual performance based raises!

Responsible for assisting with transporting building material products to branch yards, existing homes, and/or construction job sites. Strong emphasis on excellent customer service and customer satisfaction. Use proper material handling practices to load, secure and unload material for delivery.

• Paid weekly on Fridays
• Discretionary profit share after one year of employment
• Six paid holidays and PTO Immediately
• Must be able to lift 50-80lbs regularly and able to operate a propane forklift safely

• Building material product knowledge a plus
