Job summary

Presbyterian Senior Living in Town of Bethlehem, NY is seeking a part-time driver to transport residents to activities and appointments. The role involves assisting residents in and out of vehicles and ensuring safety during transfers.

Required is a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. CDL and CPR are preferred; the job includes 9am–5pm shifts on Thursdays and Fridays with rotating weekends and occasional holidays.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record required.
• CDL preferred.
• Current CPR preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transports residents in company vehicles to activities and appointments.
• Safely assists residents in and out of vehicles.
• Operates lift equipment necessary to load and unload wheelchairs.
• Assists maintenance department in maintaining vehicles.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Recognizes and reports changes in resident's condition to medical personnel.
• Provides excellent customer service in all interactions.
• Maintains a safe work environment and exhibits safe work practices.
• Interacts cooperatively with residents, families, visitors and other team members.
