Job summary

Presbyterian Senior Living in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a compassionate Transport Assistant to move residents to activities and appointments, and to assist residents in and out of vehicles. You will operate lift equipment, support maintenance with vehicle care, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report changes in resident condition, and provide excellent customer service in every interaction.

The role includes a 9am-5pm schedule on Thursdays and Fridays with rotating weekends and

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
• CDL preferred.
• Current CPR preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transports residents in company vehicles to activities and appointments.
• Safely assists residents in and out of vehicles.
• Operates lift equipment necessary to load and unload wheelchairs.
• Assists maintenance department in maintaining vehicles.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Recognizes and reports changes in resident's condition to medical personnel.
• Provides excellent customer service in all interactions.
• Maintains a safe work environment and exhibits safe work practices.
• Interacts cooperatively with residents, families, visitors and other team members.
