Job summary

Provincial Senior Living in Missouri is seeking a Driver to provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to activities and appointments. You will assist passengers, secure wheelchairs, and maintain a safe, comfortable ride.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, being 21+, and a CDL may be required with a clean driving record. Experience in a customer service setting, preferably in senior living, is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• CDL may be required with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to activities and appointments.
• Assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices for stability.
• Operate radio, cell phone or pager to communicate with base station or other vehicles.
• Maintain community vehicles in good working condition.
• Clean and service vehicle with fuel, lubricants and accessories.
• Assist with vehicle registration and license plate renewals.
• Inspect and document vehicle condition monthly and per trip.

• Assists disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.
• Secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.
• Safely operates radio, cell phone or pager to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
• Maintains all community vehicles in good working condition.
• Cleans and services vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Assists with vehicle registration and license plates renewal process.
• Inspects and documents vehicle condition on a monthly and per trip basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Current commercial driver's license (CDL) may be required with an acceptable driving record in accordance with Federal Department of Transportation regulations.
• Experience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
• Must be knowledgeable of all safety precautions and comply with safety measures.
• Competent in organization, time management skills and handling multiple priorities.
