Job summary

The Wellington at Springfield, a Sonida Senior Living community, seeks a dedicated Driver to safely transport residents to routes and activities.

You will operate vehicles, assist residents in and out of transport, and support activity programming while maintaining resident safety and comfort. We offer comprehensive benefits, PTO from day one, health/dental/vision insurance, and a company 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• CDL endorsement preferred and required where necessary.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, and lift in excess of 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver residents to routed stops and assist them in and out of vehicles.
• Operate vehicles in a safe and clean manner.
• Assist the Activity Director with in-house activities and event setup.
• Ensure residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect and report any concerns.
• Act as a positive representative of the community.

Driver Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for picking up and delivering residents to the routed stops. Assists residents in and out of vehicles.
• Operates vehicles in a safe and clean fashion.
• May assist the Activity Director with in-house activities, including planning and organizing, arranging furniture, decorating, and the general setup for activity programs.
• Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect. Reports any such instance to the Executive Director.
• Acts as a positive representative of the community at all times.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver's license. CDL endorsement preferred and required where necessary.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, and ER in excess of 50lbs, as necessary to perform required tasks as assigned throughout the workday
