Job summary

ROSEMONT, a Sonida Senior Living community in Humble, TX, seeks a dedicated driver to transport residents to routed stops and assist with in-house activities. You will operate vehicles safely, maintain a clean vehicle, and support the Activity Director with events.

Uphold resident safety, report concerns, and serve as a positive community ambassador. This full-time role offers competitive benefits and opportunities for growth within a premier retirement community.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• CDL endorsement preferred and required where necessary.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for picking up and delivering residents to routed stops. Assists residents in and out of vehicles.
• Operates vehicles in a safe and clean fashion.
• May assist the Activity Director with in-house activities and events.
• Ensures residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect; reports any concerns.
• Acts as a positive representative of the community at all times.

Driver Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for picking up and delivering residents to the routed stops. Assists residents in and out of vehicles.
• Operates vehicles in a safe and clean fashion.
• May assist the Activity Director with in-house activities, including planning and organizing, arranging furniture, decorating, and the general setup for activity programs.
• Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect. Reports any such instance to the Executive Director.
• Acts as a positive representative of the community at all times.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver's license. CDL endorsement preferred and required where necessary.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, and ER in excess of 50lbs, as necessary to perform required tasks as assigned throughout the workday
