McLane Company, Inc is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver in Smyrna, TN. You will inspect vehicles, manage logs, and deliver products to customer sites while adhering to DOT regulations.

The role offers a pay range of $65,000 to $105,000 annually, a sign-on bonus up to $10,000, and comprehensive benefits from day one. This is a full-time, daytime schedule position with opportunities for home daily routes.

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level for safety and operations.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and keys for accuracy for off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination following regulations and safe operating practices.
• Maintain driver log per DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts and temps.
• Unload trailer and deliver product to customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Pay Rate: Drivers make $65,000 to $105,000.

• Home daily: Route schedule will vary. CDL-A drivers will need to be available for overnight loads

What you'll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications you'll bring as a CDL-A Teammate:

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
