Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is hiring CDL-A Delivery Drivers in the United States (Oregon - Tualatin) to move, supply, and provide for major brands.

The role offers up to $120,000/year, a sign-on bonus up to $15,000, and Day 1 benefits including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA and life insurance. Full-time, third shift (overnight), Regular status, with a comprehensive benefits package and 401(k) profit sharing after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for safety and instruction.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination and apply knowledge of regulations.
• Maintain driver log per DOT regulations and document deliveries.
• Unload trailer and deliver products to customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do As a CDL-A Delivery Driver

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.
  

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a CDL-A Teammate

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
