McLane Company, Inc is hiring a CDL-A Delivery Driver to move goods for America's favorite brands. You will comply with DOT rules, maintain logs, inspect vehicles, and deliver to customer locations with a focus on safety and reliability.

This full-time role offers competitive pay and solid benefits, with home time and opportunities for advancement. Based in Austell, GA, the position requires at least 21 years old, a valid CDL-A, and 1 year of driving experience.

Formación

• CDL-A license valid and in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles driving.
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write and understand English at work level.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects before and after trips.
• Review bill of lading and store keys for accuracy.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destinations following regulations.
• Maintain driver logs per DOT rules.
• Unload products at customer premises.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you'll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications you'll bring as a CDL-A Teammate:

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
