Meridian Senior Living in Vermont is hiring a Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for residents, supporting daily activities and outings while prioritizing comfort and dignity.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, 21+ years old, a valid driver’s license, and CPR/First Aid certification; strong communication and teamwork skills are essential and a comprehensive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and the public.
• Must demonstrate compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Must meet health requirements and pass background checks.
• CPR and First Aid certification required or ability to obtain.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as a team member or individually.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable transportation for residents.
• Prepare bus for operation and perform basic maintenance checks.
• Maintain bus and ensure resident safety and satisfaction during trips.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and the general public.
• Respect residents' privacy and dignity while performing duties.
