Job summary

The Meridian At Waterways is seeking a compassionate part-time driver to transport residents safely and reliably. You will maintain the bus and ensure resident safety while delivering courteous service to residents and families.

Requirements include a valid driver's license, CPR/First Aid certification, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and the public. Health and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid and active driver’s license.
• Meet motor vehicle records clearance requirements.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and general public.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual.
• Must possess current first aid and CPR certification.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the bus for operation and maintain it; prioritize resident safety and satisfaction.
