Spitzer Autoworld in North Canton seeks a passionate Part-Time Driver to support our driver team. You will load, transport, and deliver vehicles, documents, and items between locations, ensuring accuracy and timely service.

We value an upbeat attitude, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a drug screen and background check. This role contributes to a customer-focused and team-driven automotive group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Must be upbeat and positive in attitude.
• Successful completion of drug screen and background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Load vehicles with listed goods and ensure safe handling of fragile items.
• Drive vehicles to delivery locations and deliver products or documents.
• Unload and sort items along routes and obtain signatures when applicable.
• Record delivery information and recipient responses as required.
• Plan efficient routes to reach destinations and meet delivery deadlines.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Load vehicles with listed goods, ensuring goods are loaded correctly and taking precautions with fragile goods
• Drive vehicles to reach destinations to deliver products and messages or materials
• Unload and sort items collected along delivery routes
• Receive messages or materials to be delivered, and information on recipients, such as names, addresses, telephone numbers, and delivery instructions, communicated via telephone, or in person
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery
• Deliver messages and items, such as newspapers, documents, and packages, between locations, and to other establishments and private homes
• Sort items to be delivered according to the delivery route
• Obtain signatures for documents or goods, if applicable
• Record information, such as items received and delivered and recipients' responses to messages, if applicable
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• High school diploma or equivalent
