Job summary

Spitzer Ford of Cuyahoga Falls is seeking a Parts Driver to deliver and pick up parts and equipment for the dealership. You will also sell parts to customers over the counter, in the shop or on the phone.

Qualifications

• Previous dealership experience preferred.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores and vendors.
• Coordinates with Parts Manager and other staff for pickups or deliveries.
• Verifies invoice matches purchase order for each pickup.
• Maintains log of pickups/deliveries and collects signatures.
• Loads/unloads truck and handles undelivered parts.
• Assists customers with parts questions in person or on the phone.
• Notifies manager of out-of-stock parts and special orders.
• Backup Parts Advisor when needed.

The Parts Driver delivers and picks up parts and equipment for the dealership, and sells parts to customers over the counter, in the shop or on the phone.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts and vendors
• Coordinates with Parts Manager and other parts counter persons for last minute picks-ups or deliveries
• Verifies invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up and delivery
• Keeps and accurate log of pick-ups and deliveries and collects recipient signatures on each entry
• Loads and unloads truck each night and turns in paperwork and undelivered parts
• Assists customers in person and on phone with questions regarding parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner
• Provides a high level of service to internal and external customers
• Pulls and fills orders from stock
• Notifies manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention
• Notifies customers and/or service advisors with special order parts arrive
• Backup Parts Advisor, when needed

Position Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior dealership experience preferred
• Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check and pre-employment drug screening
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Outgoing, upbeat personality with excellent interpersonal skill
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
