Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver in Fountain, CO to support regional routes. You will inspect vehicles, manage logs, and deliver to customer sites while upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, verifying paperwork, and maintaining accurate delivery records. Benefits start from day one and vehicles are supported by regional teams for home time and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be safety-focused and reliable with a strong safety record.
• Minimum age 21 and valid CDL-A license.
• At least 1 year driving tractor-trailer experience.
• Ability to read, write and understand English at a functional level.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects and submit DOT inspection reports.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy on delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destinations following regulations and routes.
• Maintain driver logs per DOT rules and document deliveries.
• Unload trailer and deliver products to customer sites.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate: Drivers make $75,000 to $110,000.

What you’ll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications you’ll bring as a CDL-A Teammate:

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
