Job summary

Vail Resorts seeks a Driver at Kirkwood, CA to join the resort Transportation Team. No prior commercial driving experience is required; paid training is provided. This winter seasonal role offers full-time and part-time shifts with a starting wage of $20.00–$23.00 per hour and housing options.

You will transport guests safely along scheduled routes, assist with area information, and perform pre/post-trip inspections while upholding exceptional guest service in all conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid USA Driver’s License required.
• Satisfactory driving record required.
• Knowledge of two-way radio use and related codes.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport guests along scheduled routes and accommodate demand requests.
• Drive larger vehicles in all conditions.
• Provide guest information about the area, activities and transportation in the resort.
• Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Basic vehicle maintenance checks (fluids, fueling).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications

• Starting Wage: $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr
• Guaranteed minimum of $20/hour, inclusive of tips (if tipped position).

Job Responsibilities

• Safely transport small or large groups of guests while adhering to scheduled routes and accommodating demand requests.
• Ability to drive larger vehicles in all conditions.
• Provide exceptional guest service to all guests and equip them with information about the area, activities and transportation in the resort.
• Responsible for completing pre and post trip vehicle inspections.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance including checking fluids and fueling.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation: $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
