Job summary

Vail Resorts in New York is seeking an experienced Advanced CDL Driver for the Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 period. You will transport guests and staff safely between pickup and drop-off points while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering a memorable guest experience.

Responsibilities include obeying traffic laws, completing daily reports, and ensuring buses are well maintained. Required CDL, clean driving record, 2 years CDL experience, and valid DOT medical certificate.

Qualifications

• Valid US Driver's License and clean driving record.
• CDL Class A or B with air brake and passenger endorsement.
• 2 years prior experience in a CDL-required driving position.
• Current DOT medical certificate.
• Pre-employment drug test.

Advanced CDL Driver

As an Experienced Driver, your responsibility is to safely transport guests and employees to and from pickup and drop‑off locations, maintain a friendly and positive attitude daily, and provide guests with an experience of a lifetime.

Job Specifications

• Starting Wage: $27.00/hr – $33.93/hr
• Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027
• Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time available
• Minimum Age: 18 years or older
• Housing Availability: Yes

Job Responsibilities

• Obey all highway laws and drive defensively.
• Fill out daily reports and notify the manager of any bus difficulties.
• Check oil, water, tires, and general condition before and after each run; wash and maintain bus cleanliness.
• Assist passengers to ensure they are properly seated.
• Handle passenger emergencies and disruptions.
• Safely transport small and large groups on and off property to assigned locations.
• Maintain and clean buses.
• Report maintenance problems.
• Install and remove tire chains as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Valid US Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid US Commercial Driver's License, Class A or B with air brake and passenger endorsement (obtained at own expense) – Required.
• 2 years prior experience in a CDL-required driving position – Required.
• Current Medical Examination Report (valid for 2 years) – Required.
• High School Diploma.
• Pre‑employment drug test.
• Current DOT medical certificate.

Additional Information

The expected pay range is $27.00/hr – $33.93/hr. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
