Job summary

The Delaney of Bridgewater is seeking a hospitality-focused Driver for a part-time role. You will transport residents to grocery store and outings, and assist with housekeeping as needed.

You will drive on regular schedules, help residents on and off vehicles, load groceries, schedule maintenance, and keep vehicles clean. A warm, respectful approach and safety are valued in our community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months experience as a bus/van driver required.

Responsibilities

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van; track attendance and coordinate equipment.
• Load groceries and other items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle; may perform housekeeping functions as directed.
• Supports creating a culture where decisions drive revenue and occupancy.

Salary:

$17/hour

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver:

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
