Job summary

Lake Port Senior Living in Leesburg, Florida is seeking a hospitality focused Driver to transport residents to grocery store, outings, and extended trips. This role also assists with housekeeping duties to support a clean, welcoming environment.

The position requires a CDL license, a high school diploma or GED, and at least six months of bus/van driving experience. You will join a team dedicated to enriching residents' lives and maintaining safe daily operations.

Qualifications

• CDL license required.

• Minimum six months experience as a bus/van driver required.

Responsibilities

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver:

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
