Job summary

Rose Senior Living Beachwood is seeking a hospitality focused Driver to join our team. This role transports residents to grocery store, outings and extended trips, and may assist with housekeeping duties as required.

Responsibilities include driving a van, bus or car on a regular schedule, helping residents on and off vehicles, loading groceries, coordinating vehicle maintenance and keeping the vehicle clean. Hours are 8:30am to 5pm; pay is $16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required.

• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver:

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• High school diploma or GED required

Hours: 8:30am - 5pm

Salary: $16.00 per hour.
