Job summary

Provincial Senior Living is seeking a Driver to provide reliable transportation for residents to activities and events. The role includes assisting disabled passengers, securing wheelchairs, and communicating with base stations to ensure smooth service.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 21, and have customer service experience. CDL may be required, and safety knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to activities.
  • Assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.
  • Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices during trips.
  • Operate radio, cell phone or pager to report disruptions of service.
  • Maintain community vehicles in good working condition.
  • Clean and service vehicles with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
  • Assist with vehicle registration and license plate renewals.
  • Inspect and document vehicle condition on a monthly and per-trip basis.

Our community is looking for a Driver to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for providing timely and courteous transportation for the residents to and from various activities while providing quality service.
  • Assists disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.
  • Secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.
  • Safely operates radio, cell phone or pager to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
  • Maintains all community vehicles in good working condition.
  • Cleans and services vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
  • Assists with vehicle registration and license plates renewal process.
  • Inspects and documents vehicle condition on a monthly and per trip basis.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Current commercial driver's license (CDL) may be required with an acceptable driving record in accordance with Federal Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Experience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
  • Must be knowledgeable of all safety precautions and comply with safety measures.
  • Competent in organization, time management skills and handling multiple priorities.
