Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking an experienced truck driver to transport freight between service centers and customers and to support sales efforts, ensuring efficient transportation operations. The role requires a Class A CDL with hazMat and tanker endorsements, and at least one year of driving experience.

Applicants should be able to perform basic math, lift up to 100 pounds, and work well independently or in a team. Compliance with DOT regulations and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles/triples and straight trucks.
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections, secure freight using appropriate tools, and handle freight with motorized/manual equipment.
• Verify documentation, comply with hazardous material regulations, and manage freight charges.
• Follow dispatch instructions, communicate delays or issues, and engage with customers to determine needs and generate additional business.
• May perform tire chaining, and possibly assume roles of road driver or dock employee as needed.
• Adhere to all laws, regulations, and company policies, and perform other duties as assigned.
