Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking an experienced truck driver to transport freight between service centers and customers, supporting sales and ensuring safe, efficient delivery. You will operate tractor-trailers (including doubles and triples), perform daily inspections, hook/unhook trailers, and secure cargo using straps and ropes.

Qualifications include a valid Class A CDL with hazmat, doubles/triples, and tanks endorsements, at least one year of recent driving experience or a driver development

This role involves transporting freight between Service Centers and customers, supporting sales, and ensuring safe, efficient delivery.

Key responsibilities include operating tractor-trailers (including doubles, triples, and straight trucks), performing daily safety inspections, hooking/unhooking trailers, handling freight with equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, and securing cargo with straps and ropes.

Additional duties involve verifying documentation, complying with hazardous material regulations, collecting freight charges, communicating with dispatch and customers, and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications require a valid Class A CDL with endorsements for hazardous materials, doubles/triples, and tanks. Candidates should have at least one year of recent driving experience or completed a driver development course, a clean Motor Vehicle Record, and knowledge of DOT regulations. Skills include basic math, communication, physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and the capacity to work independently or in teams.

Work conditions may involve driving in various weather, exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and hazardous materials. The role may require performing tire chaining, road driving, or dock duties as needed.

Compensation ranges from $32.20 to $37.27 per hour, with additional mileage pay for linehaul duties, and includes benefits like health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and bonuses.
