Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a professional truck driver to operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles and triples, delivering freight between service centers and customers to support sales efforts. This role requires daily safety inspections, load securing, documentation, and coordination with dispatch.

Candidates must have a Class A CDL with hazmat and double/triple endorsements, DOT compliance, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily safety inspections and hook/unhook trailers.

• Verify documentation, comply with hazmat regulations, and manage freight charges.
• Coordinate deliveries with dispatch and customers to solicit additional business.
• Possibly perform tire chaining, road driving, or dock duties as needed.
• Adhere to laws, regulations, and company policies.

• Performing daily safety inspections and hooking/unhooking trailers
• Handling freight with motorized/manual equipment and securing loads with straps and ropes
• Verifying documentation, complying with hazardous material regulations, and managing freight charges
• Communicating with dispatch and customers to coordinate deliveries and solicit additional business
• Potentially performing tire chaining, road driving, or dock duties as needed
• Adhering to laws, regulations, and company policies

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with double/triple, hazardous materials, and tank endorsements
• Minimum one year of recent driving experience or completion of a driver development course
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record and compliance with DOT regulations
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, perform basic math, and follow instructions
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or in teams
