Job summary

The Waterford at Baytown is seeking a Driver to transport residents to scheduled stops, assist them in and out of vehicles, and maintain safe, clean vehicle operations. You may support activity programming and ensure resident safety and comfort throughout daily tasks.

This role requires a valid driver's license; CDL endorsement is preferred where applicable. Join a team focused on quality care, with opportunities for training and growth within a senior living community.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver's license with CDL when required by route.
• CDL endorsement preferred where necessary.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, and lift in excess of 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for picking up and delivering residents to the routed stops. Assists residents in and out of vehicles.
• Operates vehicles in a safe and clean fashion.
• May assist the Activity Director with in-house activities, including planning and organizing, arranging furniture, decorating, and the general setup for activity programs.
• Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect. Reports any such instance to the Executive Director.
