Job summary

The Ashton on Dorsey, a Sonida Senior Living community in Louisville, KY, seeks a dedicated Driver to transport residents to designated stops and support daily activities. The role emphasizes safety, courtesy, and reliable transportation service for seniors.

You will work within a compassionate team, ensuring residents are cared for with dignity while maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness throughout your shift.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license. CDL endorsement preferred where required.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs as necessary to perform tasks.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver residents to routed stops, assist in and out of vehicles.
• Operate vehicles in a safe and clean manner.
• Assist the Activity Director with in-house activities and event setup.
• Ensure residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect; report any instance to the Executive Director.

Driver Responsibilities Include

• Responsible for picking up and delivering residents to the routed stops. Assists in and out of vehicles.
• Operates vehicles in a safe and clean fashion.
• May assist the Activity Director with in-house activities, including planning and organizing, arranging furniture, decorating, and the general setup for activity programs.
• Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect. Reports any such instance to the Executive Director.
• Acts as a positive representative of the community at all times.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license. CDL endorsement preferred and required where necessary.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, and ER in excess of 50lbs, as necessary to perform required tasks as assigned throughout the workday
