Job summary

SONIC Drive-In, operated by KBP Drive-In, is looking for a Restaurant General Manager in Roanoke, VA. You will own restaurant performance, develop leaders and create a fast, friendly guest experience while pursuing above-store growth.

Lead labor, inventory, cash controls, and security to drive profitability, recruit and coach a strong team, and ensure a clean, welcoming dining environment for guests.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Restaurant General Manager experience with profit & loss responsibility in food service or retail (quick-service preferred).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least 2 nights per week.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, standing, walking, lifting, and using kitchen equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Own restaurant performance and profitability including labor, inventory, cash controls, security, and financial results.
• Build and lead the management team by recruiting, interviewing, and hiring Team Members, Shift Managers, and Assistant GMs.
• Coach and develop employees to deliver operational excellence and strong restaurant results.
• Complete inventory counts and use results to help control costs.
• Create a clean, welcoming restaurant where guests receive friendly service and quality food.
