SONIC Drive-In in Pflugerville, TX seeks a seasoned General Manager to lead daily operations, mentor Crew and Carhops, and ensure safe, high‑quality service that delights guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies in business or restaurant management preferred
• Minimum of two years of restaurant management experience, QSR preferred
• Ability to work a minimum 5 day week with irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of hiring practices, labor laws, and basic accounting and computer skills
• Leadership, communication, problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Crew/ Team members, Carhops and Skating Carhops
• Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees to meet operational standards
• Adheres to and monitors employee compliance of the drive-in handbook, policies and practices
• Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties
• Prepares employee work schedules; monitors and adjusts staffing levels
• Maintains restaurant inventory levels and places orders within cost controls
• Completes and maintains employment and payroll records
• Resolves guest requests and assists in addressing complaints
• Interview and hire restaurant crew and management team members
• Develops action plans to resolve unfavorable financial and/or sales trends
• Develops and implements a marketing plan
