Job summary

Lewis Energy Group is seeking an entry-level crew member to support drilling operations on a rig in Texas. You will assist with rig setup, operation, and dismantling, rack tubulars, and help make up and break out drill strings under the guidance of senior crew members.

This role emphasizes hands-on training, physical stamina, and teamwork. A valid driver’s license and the ability to work in varied conditions are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years oilfield, heavy construction, mining, farming, ranching or military work experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and write and communicate effectively in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in drilling rig erection and dismantling under supervision.
• Inspects, assembles, and handles components to prepare for drilling operations.
• Maintains tools and equipment and performs housekeeping on the rig.
• Relieves other crew members to gain promotion experience.
