Job summary

Lewis Energy Group, LP is seeking an entry-level crew member to support drilling operations under supervision. You will assist in rig setup and dismantling, handle tubulars, and help make up and break out drill strings while observing safety protocols on site.

You will also maintain the tool room, perform routine housekeeping, and rotate through roles to gain experience for future promotion. A valid driver’s license is typically required, and physical demands are substantial.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in oilfield or similar physically demanding work.
• Other: Able to read/write and work in a team environment; capable of safe tool use.

Responsibilities

• Assist in rig erection (rig up) and dismantling (rig down) under supervision.
• Inspects and prepares components and equipment for drilling operations.
• Handles tubulars, makes up breaks out drill string and monitors safety.
• Maintains housekeeping and tool room; performs minor maintenance.
• Relieves crew members to gain experience for promotion.
